Alastair MacLennan at 175 years of Belfast School of Art

Ulster University has invited Alastair MacLennan to contribute to the 175 anniversary of the Belfast School of Art to celebrate BSoA’s past present and future. The 175 anniversary year s up with a week of intensive programming from November 13th - November 22th 2024.

The performance alludes to moving beyond oppositional/binary thinking, engaging plurality of meaning associations with lateral thinking, liminality, layering, meeting and letting go... a demonstrated wish and will towards resolving  inner and outer conflict, be it spiritual, religious, political, personal, social, cultural...or any interfusion of these.
