Elvira Santamaria Torres | One to One Encounter is a way to create and reinvent links through exchanges of experiences to help strengthen us on our journey through life and art. I am convinced that dialogue about whatever we are most passionate about or what worries us is an important factor for resilience and this has been the condition since time immemorial. Now, this has become an urgent concern in the context of accelerated hyper-connections and pandemics.
This Encounter to talk about art and life began as a way to support my global community of students and young artists in their creative processes and development of specific artistic projects. It was also a space to talk about any concern about life, death, human action and the vicissitudes that we face, locally and globally. Continuing with these Encounters I return with a special invitation to everyone who is interested in meeting for the first time or re-encountering, to continue building dialogues and reflecting on the reality that concerns each and everyone of us.
For those who want to work on an artistic project or theme, please present a brief profile of your work, and/or 3 to 5 lines on your topic/s of interest. In the case of visual artists (only) it would be of great help to present visual material (photos or video) *Please note that this is not mandatory*.
